Repeat after me.....

It's to early to plant, It's to early to plant, It's to early to plant!

It's March 13th and we are having record high temps in Illinois. 72 degrees today and a high of 76 tomorrow!! I think much of the country is enjoying this unseasonably warm weather. It's really hard to be patient when its this nice out.

I spotted this in the garden today. Volunteer spinach!

Heck, its almost ready to harvest.

I'm  a little concerned what affect this warm weather will have on us later, but I'm going to enjoy it, never the less!

and
 then, she {snapped}

  1. How's about some horticultural fleece to cover tender new plantings?
    For me:I'm in no hurry. Snails are already on the march.
    Is that edible spinach? that's early.

  2. I'm not sure I've heard of horticultural fleece- know of anywhere online to find out about that? Yes, its spinach I planted last year and it is early! I'm looking forward to a salad soon.
